The sincerest form of flattery?
Monday, July 20th, 2009When Charles Caleb Colton, (1780 – 1832) said “Imitation is the sincerest of flattery,” he surely couldn’t have envisioned either websites or a society as litigious as 21st century America.
We recently have fallen victim to “creative borrowing” on another website.
Thanks to an anonymous tipster, we were alerted about the thievery use of our logo and domain name fairly early on. Thanks to our exec producer, Herb, we got the message across that, although we appreciate the flattery, it also isn’t very cool.
Thank you for warning us. We will remove your logo.

We are pleased that we likely won’t need to lawyer up to try and get blood from that turnip, but I might have enjoyed the drama.
